Pinktober 5km Charity Walk - Register now!

Our community is very important to us at Kawana Shoppingworld and we strive to support as many local community and charity organisations as possible.
Pinktober 5km Charity Walk!

Kawana Shoppingworld is going Pink again in October!  Kawana Shoppingworld, Hot 91 and the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation invite you to participate in a 5km Charity Walk.  A celebration of life, family and friends, join us to kick off Pinktober 2008.

Our 5km Charity Walk will be held on Sunday 5 October from 9:00am.  The walk will take you from Kawana Shoppingworld to Point Cartwright to Cindy's memorial chair and back to enjoy fun festivities at Kawana Shoppingworld.

There's some great prizes to be won for early bird registrations and each participant receives some fantastic Pinktober merchandise simply for registering! 

Pinktober is a major fundraising event for the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation, a local foundation supporting local families going through breast cancer.

Community Events/Information

The Sunshine Coast Daily Family Life Expo

This will be held at Stockland Park (formally Quad Park) on the 23rd & 24th August 2008.  The very best products and services for mum, dad, grandparents and children will be on show with heaps of entertainment for all ages.  For more information, please go to www.familyexpo.com.au.

The Sunshine Coast Daily My Money Expo

This will be held at the Lake Kawana Community Centre on the 4th & 5th October 2008 and is where you will find all the answers to your financial, investment, retirement and business needs in the one convenient location.  The Sunshine Coast Wine and Cheese Exhibition will be run in conjunction with this event.  Entry is Free.  For more information, please go to www.moneyexpo.com.au.
