The humble beginnings of the Lorna Jane brand date back over two decades when Lorna Jane Clarkson herself started the business on the top floor of a Brisbane fitness centre. Inspired to make active wear that made women look and feel good, soon friends and gym members took notice of her unique designs and the orders flooded in. Demand grew rapidly and the positive momentum quickly led to the very first Lorna Jane concept store opening in Brisbane in 1990. Since then, Lorna Jane has flourished into a multi-million dollar ath-leisure brand with 68 stores throughout Australia and overseas. Propelled by her own love of exercise and the healthy and positive way that she chooses to live her life, Lorna Jane has built her company on motivating women to achieve their best life. With 2010 marking the 20th anniversary of the label, the team at Lorna Jane is working harder than ever to encourage women through Active Living.
